Estimating

Bronco’s estimating services provide accurate, detailed cost projections that form the foundation for successful project planning and execution. Our experienced estimating team analyzes project specifications, material requirements, labor needs, and schedule considerations to develop comprehensive budget forecasts that enable informed decision-making and ensure projects are competitively bid and financially viable from the start.

Pre-Construction

Bronco employs project controls in pre-construction to optimize planning, manage risks, and ensure proper manpower and procurement dates are identified to complete a project seamlessly.

  • Sage Estimating features superior takeoff tools to allow for efficient, consistent, and organized takeoff
  • Sage contains Bronco’s database of labor units associated with piping, structural steel, civil and process equipment.
  • A preliminary bid schedule is built using Primavera P6
  • The bid schedule is sent with the estimate proposal to openly communicate Bronco’s construction logic to the client before the job is awarded.
  • A detailed execution plan can be submitted with the proposal to further explain Bronco’s bid schedule logic.

Construction

Once a project is awarded, Bronco’s project controls procedures are implemented and executed to ensure its success.

  • Bronco uses Procore for document control, RFIs, Change Orders & Transmittals.
  • Procore allows RFIs, Change Orders, and Transmittals to be submitted, tracked, and answered within the Procore web application. This cuts down on file storage and email chains between Bronco and our clients, keeping information readily available for both parties.
  • The Bronco Tracker is created by exporting the takeoff data from Sage.
  • Project controls and the field manager use the Tracker to create P6 activities and refine the bid schedule. Each line in the Tracker is assigned to a P6 ID.
  • Foreman progress reports update the quantities installed in the Tracker, which drives the percent complete of each activity in the schedule.
  • Foundation Accounting is our cost control and billing software — pulls actual manhours for our weekly report.
  • Bronco’s weekly report includes an updated construction schedule, reporting of work completed, work planned, plan vs. actual curves, three-week look ahead, KPIs, and forecasting.

Project Controls

We leverage project controls to track and manage costs and performance throughout each project’s lifecycle. Our team uses real-time data to monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, allowing us to address issues before they arise. These controls ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, delivering maximum value for our clients.

Commissioning & Startup

Bronco’s commissioning and startup services ensure that newly installed or modified industrial systems transition smoothly from construction to full operational status. Our experienced teams conduct comprehensive system testing, performance verification, and operational readiness assessments, coordinating with equipment manufacturers and client personnel to safely start up facilities, validate performance against design specifications, and deliver fully functional systems ready for production.

Maintenance

Bronco’s maintenance services provide comprehensive care and upkeep for industrial equipment, facilities, and systems throughout their operational lifecycle. Our skilled maintenance teams perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, repairs, and system updates that maximize equipment reliability, extend asset lifespan, minimize unplanned downtime, and ensure your facilities continue operating safely and efficiently at peak performance.
